County Range of Bulk Storage Silos

The County Range of silos offers you complete control over the specification of your silo - by selecting from a range of options you can 'build' a top quality silo to meet your needs and your budget.

Silo Models:

• Capacities 4 to 40 tonnes (6.7m³ to 57.7m³)
• Diameters 2.06m / 2.57m / 2.87m / 3.35m
• Centre discharge cone 60° angle for pellets, nuts or wholegrain and 67° for meal or blends 
• Side discharge - our unique, true side discharge with 90°/50° cone angle
• Each support structure is manufactured to give the clearance required below the discharge selected
• Conforms to the European Machinery Directive

Choose from a range of optional items:

		Exhaust pipe kit c/w AutoVent and Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) diverts dust laden air away from roof during filling, which may otherwise attract birds and vermin; it also protects the silo from damage caused by overfilling
		Additional feed level indicator windows enable visual monitoring of stock levels
		Manufacture in 6 PlasteelTM colours for the ideal no-paint solution when a coloured silo is required. A durable plastic coating is bonded to the steel substrate during manufacture
		Extension filler pipe gives the option to locate the silo where access to vehicles is restricted
		SafetyClean Plus is the SafetyClean panel with an integral discharge chute, so that feed can be withdrawn whilst an auger is connected to the main silo discharge
		Choice of support structures to give the required clearance under the cone ready for your chosen discharge
		Cyclone dust collector (c/w PRV) attaches to the exhaust pipe to collect feed dust expelled during filling, preventing waste, keeping the base clean and promoting hygiene
		FloView™ System allows you to visually monitor feed flow from the silo to the conveyor; high strength, UV stable, transparent components include the SafetyClean and Conveyor upper pickup unit

Silo discharge and chutes:

• Gate valve slide unit for centre discharge silos
• Side discharge chutes for centre and side discharge silos, and telescopic chutes
• Collinson Rotaflex^TM conveyors; also a range of adaptors is available for other types of conveyors/augers

Plasteel colour finishes:

In addition to our standard range of Plasteel finishes shown above, other colours are available for orders of 6 silos or more; White (BS 00E55), Hamlet (RAL9002), Honesty (BS 10C31), Mushroom (BS 10B19), Albatros (BS 18B17), Wedgewood Blue (BS 18C37) and Meadowland (12B17)
