    Job Description

    Our electrical division is looking for an electrician to join the busy team

    Successful candidates will:

    • Travel to Company construction sites to carry out electrical installations within a safe work culture, as required by the client.
    • Report any issues / problems to the Site Supervisor / Project Managers
    • Work and communicate as part of a team and ensure compliance with project policies and procedures
    • Maintain a high level of work standards and productivity whilst working to time constraints
    • Install and maintain electrical work on Company premises
    • Assemble electrical components for Company products
  • Quantity Surveyor

    Job Description

    Successful candidates will:

    • Assist Construction Sales team with producing estimates/quotes /formal tenders
    • Review/manage contracts for live projects
    • Procure subcontractors/suppliers
    • Advise on contractual issues with clients or subcontractors/suppliers
    • Cost control and monthly financial reporting of live projects
    • Manage internal systems for costings, such as our bespoke Quote Engine (QE)
    • Assist project managers where required according to workload and absences
    • Liaise with customers, client agents, Building Control, Consultants and Collinson personnel as required
    • Liaise with Collinson fabrication team, factory and subcontract fabricators/contractors where required
    • Liaise with Collinson construction team to assist with any on site queries relating to the design of the project
    • Attend site where required
    • Attend training courses where required
    • Complete all necessary internal processes to include car details, mileage, expenses using the appropriate documentation.
  • Silo Assembly Trainee

    Job Description

    Our manufacturing team are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the silo assembly team, experience isn’t necessary as full training will be given.

    An excellent entry opportunity and key to our manufacturing process, training and experience in this role often opens access to different career opportunities as and when they arise within Collinson plc. 

    Successful candidates will:

    • Observe and learn the silo assembly process with the Gantry Leader
    • Assemble silos using hand tools, riveters and hand air tools in line with the Company Health & Safety policy.
    • Work with the Silo Assembly team as a whole to assist where required
    • Complete Mandatory Safety Modules required by the role within the first 3 months
    • Demonstrate a progression in skill ready for review in the first three months
    • Successfully complete the probationary period demonstrating reliability, capability, teamwork, professional conduct and attitude.
